Hi, I’m Tina and my path into coaching began long before I ever knew it would become my work.
I grew up shy and often felt alone, and that experience shaped me. It made me incredibly sensitive to how others are feeling, and I’ve always paid close attention to the people around me. I never wanted anyone to feel the kind of loneliness I felt, so I became naturally curious about people – what they need, what they’re carrying, and how to make them feel seen.
A major turning point came when I moved across the world at 19 to the United States on a Division 1 tennis scholarship. I was excited, but the reality was hard – I was homesick, depressed, and overwhelmed. My coach at the time was deeply rooted in positive psychology. Negativity wasn’t allowed. We had to reframe the way we spoke, the way we thought, and the way we carried ourselves. That experience changed me. It taught me resilience, mindset, and the power of choosing how you show up.
Life continued to shape me in ways I never expected. I navigated anxious attachment, painful breakups, and a three‑year emotionally abusive relationship that forced me to confront my patterns, my wounds, and my worth. I’ve spent years in therapy, including trauma therapy, working through childhood triggers and healing toward secure attachment. I will never stop working on myself. Growth is not a phase for me; it’s a lifelong commitment.
Another defining part of my journey was working with my own coach. Having someone who held space for me, asked the right questions, and held me accountable was transformative. Through coaching, I was able to identify the areas of my life I wanted to focus on, create meaningful action steps, and move forward with clarity. Experiencing the power of coaching firsthand is one of the reasons I believe in this work so deeply – I know what it feels like to be supported, challenged, and guided by someone who is fully invested in your growth.
For a long time, I thought I wanted to be a therapist because I’ve always cared deeply about people. But I realized that what lights me up is helping people move forward -not just understand their past. Coaching allows me to do that. It lets me sit with someone in the present, help them see their potential, and walk with them toward the future they want.
Alongside coaching, I work full‑time as a commodities trader – a role that demands clarity, emotional regulation, and grounded decision‑making. The intensity of that environment has shaped my approach to mindset and resilience. It’s taught me how to stay centered under pressure, how to navigate uncertainty, and how to bring calm structure into chaotic moments – skills I now help my clients build in their own lives.
I’m a Certified Life Coach through Lumia, founded by John Kim (The Angry Therapist). I’m committed to continuous learning – I study human behavior, communication, emotional intelligence, and personal development through ongoing reading, coursework, and trainings. I’m constantly expanding my knowledge, and I listen to Diary of a CEO podcasts on repeat, especially the episodes on human behavior, communication, and personal development.
Outside of coaching, you’ll find me playing tennis or golf, at the gym, traveling, or challenging myself physically and mentally. I love experiences that stretch me, broaden my perspective, and remind me that I can do hard things.
At the heart of everything I do is this: I genuinely want the best for people. I want the world to feel more connected, more present, and more grounded. And I believe that when we become better within ourselves, we become better for everyone around us.
If you’re here, it means you’re already thinking about your next chapter. I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you step into it.
